 1) the Interaction Assignment. What did you do? What did you learn? Was it fun?

Among Goffman's theories, I learned the theory of frontstage. I could find it in my daily life. In a space where everyone can see like SNS, everyone acted like actors in front of the stage. But they become more honest in their private spaces. It was interesting to apply Goffman's theory to everyday life.

W4.1 extra credit assignment - Eunjin Jung

Q) the Interaction Assignment. What did you do? What did you learn? Was it fun? A) I analyzed the interactions within the machine learning study I participating in based on Goffman's theory. Through Goffman's "The Presentation of Self In Everyday Life," I learned a new perspective on the world. When I thought that what we go through was a kind of "peformance" and that we were "actors" in the play, our daily lives felt more valuable and dramatic. This was a very funny experience for me. Also, the thought of the presence of “the stage” and “behind the stage” gave me a deeper understanding of the interaction process.
