Q) the Interaction Assignment. What did you do? What did you learn? Was it fun?


A) I analyzed the interactions within the machine learning study I participating in based on Goffman's theory. Through Goffman's "The Presentation of Self In Everyday Life," I learned a new perspective on the world. When I thought that what we go through was a kind of "peformance" and that we were "actors" in the play, our daily lives felt more valuable and dramatic. This was a very funny experience for me. Also, the thought of the presence of “the stage” and “behind the stage” gave me a deeper understanding of the interaction process.
