Week 1 : Sociology of Everyday Life

 Why are you taking this class?

I have been interested in sociology since I was in high school. At that time, a sociologist was also a dream. Since I was a child, I have been curious about the society where various people live, and now I want to work in the journalism or advertising industry rather than a sociologist. I think the journalism and advertising industry also need the ability to understand the trends of society and people's lifestyles and thoughts. Therefore, I am interested in sociology and want to develop the above abilities, so I took this class.


What PRACTICAL SKILLS do you expect to gain from attending it?

I think the actual skills that can be gained by attending this lecture are English skills, Wikipedia skills, and various perspectives on society. First of all, unlike most lectures, this is an English-only lecture, so I think my English skills will improve as the class progresses. Also, I haven't edited and posted posts directly on Wikipedia, but I think this lecture will make you more familiar with Wikipedia. And finally, since this lecture is about sociology, I think I can learn about various perspectives on society.

I think that the environment is created by individuals, institutions are settled, and structured.
